For those of you who know me are familiar with what it is I do professionally. The nightlife is my shine and allows me the opportunity to create my work.  Last week Thursday (4/22/10) SHY Magazine’s photography equipment was stolen! The night went something like this:

After a photo session at Bar 7, I decided to head to Shadowroom and meet a friend. I arrived approximately at 1:30am and spent about thirty minutes there. After seeing my friends off and saying my goodnights, I returned to my SUV only to notice my window on the passenger side broken into. If this was not disturbing enough, I searched the inside of my vehicle only to find all of my photography equipment stolen. The thief managed to get away with two of my most expensive Nikon lenses along with the camera. The total value of the property is about $5,500.00! Continue reading »

The magazine ignores the actress many men consider to be the sexiest human being on the face of the earth, and instead hoists the title of Hottest Woman in America on aMad Men cast member.

No, not January Jones. The honoree is Christina Hendricks.

This red-headed bombshell stars on the AMC hit as Joan Holloway. But she’s best known for her ridiculously large, plump (real) breasts. That’s just a fact, one Hendricks seems comfortable admitting and showing off in the pages of Esquire. Continue reading »

Hmmm. This seems like a really far fetched concept for Lady Gaga herself to promote but we guess it’s worth a shot. Recently the very avant-garde Lady Gaga shocked the media, and we’re sure her fans as well, with her announcement that she is going to be celibate and urges her fans to do the same. “I can’t believe I’m saying this – don’t have sex. It’s okay not to have sex, it’s okay to get to know people. I’m celibate, celibacy’s fine”, said Lady Gaga who is currently promoting MAC’s Viva Glam Campaign to fight AIDS worldwide. A fact she made the media aware of is that she is promoting this point of view partly because HIV cases among women around the world have steadily risen, while cases among men have dropped.

Let’s see if people listen to her.

So far reality television producer Bruce Beresford-Redman has not avoided suspicion but has survived the possibility of being arrested for the murder of his wife Monica Beresford-Redman. But that may not be for long. According to ABC News his arrest is now imminent and authorities in Cancun, Mexico are preparing to do so.

Mexican police authorities are saying that there are inconsistencies in Bruce’s account of the events that occurred last week after Monica was found dead in the sewer of a Cancun resort. She was a victim of a hard blow to the head.

Reports have said that the couple was having marital problems and witnesses on that day describe they heard loud arguing in their hotel room before Monica disappeared. Bruce also had some scratches on his face.

In his career Bruce won an Emmy as a producer and was responsible for producing ”Survivor” and “Pimp My Ride”.

This is some effed up shiz.

So some web blogs had reported that MTV’s “The Hills” creator Adam DiVello had sexually harassed Heidi Montag by inappropriately touching her butt after she went through tall that plastic surgery enhancement procedures. But show star Lauren Conrad has quickly defended her boss by saying, “Similar to most of my fellow MTV cast mates, I am in utter shock at the allegations made against Adam DiVello, Not only are they completely absurd, but they are 100 percent without merit. Adam is a true professional and a wonderful person to work for.”

And MTV executives also did the same. “We have looked into this matter and the allegations made against Adam DiVello are completely false and without merit. Adam not only created The Hills and The City, launching the careers of several cast members, but has worked diligently to maintain a respectful and appropriate production environment.”

And these reports of alleged harassment haven’t even been endorsed by Heidi Montag, so what gives?

Okay. We don’t quite know how to digest this. On the one hand there are pictures of Mistress Michelle McGee wearing Nazi decorations and on the other hand she says she’s not a Nazi.

Jesse James’ ex-mistress defends her position by saying, “I do not have a swastika tattoo on me. I do not show my children how to ‘Nazi salute,’”. Then why on God’s earth would you agree to wear the symbols of such a horrendous group of people? Your argument that you did it for art is not something we can truly buy Michelle. Well, how about that? It turns out all that talk about Elizabeth Taylor getting married to some dude named Jason Winters are turning out to be false rumors. Ms. Taylor got on her Twitter page to officially deny the crazy allegations. Ms. Taylor wrote, “The rumors regarding my engagement simply aren’t true. Jason is my manager and dearest friend. We’ve all heard that old expression: “It’s the pot calling the kettle black”.

Well, in this case Jon Gosselin is a prime example of that saying. He’s calling his ex wife Kate Gosselin an absentee mom. At first we thought it was a joke, but then we realized it was coming from the mouth of Jon, so it probably wasn’t. Jon, who spends his time gallivanting around in New York and with his young girlfriend, who recently dumped him, has some nerve giving this label to Kate. We’re not fans of either of these two, but the reality is that at least Kate is trying to carve out a living for her eight children. Sadly, she’s not doing a good job because she’s coming in with low ratings on ABC’s “Dancing With the Stars”, but at least she’s trying. Oh, come on, another remake? And this time with Jennifer Lopez? She is so five years ago. We’re over her. She’s cute and all, but we’re done. But it looks like J-Lo needs the money because she agreed to star in the remake of the funny “Overboard” which in 1987 starred Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell. The movie is about a woman who gets amnesia. A carpenter convinces her that she is his wife and gets her to take care of him and his four boys. Funny premise, bad choice of lead, we say.

The original movie was directed by bad ass comedy director Gary Marshall. The new one will be produced by Will Smith and his partner. No word on who’s directing the new version, but we doubt Gary would get involved.

Anyway, this movie so far sounds like it could be a miss. J-Lo has lost her fan base. They’ve moved on to other, much younger divas like Beyonce and all the “American Idol” winners. Good luck Will and J-Lo

Looks like the beginning of the end for Jesse James marriage to Sandra Bullock is almost here. Reports now indicate that Sandra is preparing to file for divorce. Do we blame her? Hell no. as more and more reports of more women Jesse cheated with come out, a close source to the couple says Sandra feels humiliated and that her marriage was built on deceit.

And the question many people wondered about was one dealing with Jesse’s children from previous marriages whom Sandra treated as her own. A rep for Sandra said, “There are no plans, nor have there ever been any plans, for Sandra Bullock to adopt any of Jesse James’s children”.

Meanwhile Jesse remains silent and at work on West Coast Choppers.
